"When I started the application process for grad school I was completely lost, that’s when I reached out to Lia and she immediately gave me a sense of relief. As writing has never been my favorite thing being able to work on my essays with Lia by talking out my ideas and then putting it all together made the process so smooth and stress free for me. Lia helped me gain the confidence and self esteem about my application that I needed by checking in with me and giving words of encouragement . She was not only supportive through the application process but also every day stressors I experienced during my senior year. When I got my acceptance letter Lia was the first person I texted thanking her for all of her help! I know I always will be able to reach out to Lia with any questions or concerns I may have through grad school and my career one day!"

“When I began the application process for entry into a Communication Disorders program, I was also a senior at UCONN with my course finals quickly approaching. Writing has never been a strength of mine. I have a hard time coming up with ideas and organizing my thoughts onto paper. I knew that juggling these responsibilities would be nearly impossible for me without a support system.

Lia helped to make the application process way easier than it would have been if I had decided to navigate it on my own. She made essay prompts easier to understand and directed my writing in the right direction. Additionally, Lia gave me the best tips for all of my required video submissions and interviews. She always sent me encouraging texts beforehand and would ask me how every interview went. I could always count on her quick replies and advice.

Lia is extremely knowledgeable in all application-related matters, including entry exams such as the GRE. I am truly happy with the way Lia was able to help me illustrate my strengths onto my applications. I don’t know what I would have done without her help!

Both my brother and mom have also received help from Lia with school work and resumes. We have all had only positive outcomes."

"Navigating the graduate school application process for Doctor of Physical Therapy programs felt overwhelming—until I started working with Lia. From day one, Lia helped me build a personalized plan that turned my anxiety into confidence.

Every essay brainstorming session with Lia was truly transformative. I’d start feeling uncertain and leave inspired, brimming with ideas I was excited to write about. Her feedback was always thoughtful, thorough, and honest. She pushed me to dig deeper, helping me craft an application that not only showcased my accomplishments but also told my unique story.

Lia didn’t just help me build a strong application—she helped me build confidence. By the time I submitted my applications, I felt proud of the story I was presenting. When interview season arrived, I walked in feeling prepared, self-assured, and ready to succeed. Her guidance was instrumental in my admission to all my top programs, many with scholarships.

Lia’s support doesn’t stop at applications. She is incredibly well-connected and even helped me land a PT aide job during my gap year—an opportunity that has been invaluable in preparing for grad school and my future career.

The graduate school application process is notoriously stressful, but Lia made it feel manageable and even empowering. She was always available to answer my countless questions, provided invaluable insight, and consistently encouraged me along the way. Her expertise and support turned a daunting process into a rewarding journey. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor, and I’m so grateful for everything she helped me achieve. 💙"

"Working with Lia has played a monumental role in my collegiate success. I began working with Lia in 2021, during my senior year of high school. During this process, she helped me navigate the Common App portal, ensuring that everything was filled out correctly. Equally important, Lia's talents shone in her ability to coach me on how to write my personal statement. Lia's strong writing acumen, along with her ability to draw out personal details, was crucial in crafting a meaningful personal statement that would attract the attention of admissions committees.

Lia's expertise became even more valuable in my application to veterinary school. Applying to such a competitive graduate program required an even greater refinement of my writing and my ability to stand out to admissions officers. We worked together to strategize the best approach for tackling my personal statement and answering several supplemental questions for each of the ten schools I applied to. Working with Lia made the graduate school application process less stressful and supported my successful admission to my top-choice veterinary school, the University of Pennsylvania.

Writing has always been difficult for me. Lia's advising is rooted in personal writing and tailoring responses to genuinely reflect how I think and feel in a way that best represents me for college admission."

"I really enjoyed my experience with Lia. Each meeting went very well, and she helped me develop my application without any problems. The process was very smooth, and Lia was always available when I needed to get in touch. The aspect of our work together which was most helpful was the developing of the personal statement. The experience was very stress free, as Lia made it very easy to follow and assisted every step of the way. I was so happy with the results, as she helped me get into the one program I wanted, and the only one we applied to. Upon receiving my letter of acceptance, Lia was one of the first people I reached out to, and responded immediately with her congratulations."

"During my senior year of high school, I decided to further my education and pursue a college degree. Like so many other students, I did not realize how overwhelming the process is. From building a resume, filling out the common app, writing essays, gathering letters of recommendation, and applying for scholarships, the process seemed like a nightmare. My family members and friends had worked with Lia before and recommended that I do so as well. This was the best decision I made. We met several times and worked through the process step by step. My mentality changed from believing the process to be impossible to easily achievable. I dreaded writing the essay because I had no clue what to write about. Lia helped articulate an essay and shape an application that got me into the college of my dreams, the University of Connecticut.

Because the first time was so easy and comfortable, it was an obvious decision to ask Lia for help to apply for graduate school. Once again, I was putting off the process because it seemed long and strenuous. However, after meeting with Lia just three times, I was able to build another resume, fill out the application, construct three essays, and apply for a scholarship. In a week or so, I was accepted into the University of Connecticut again as a graduate student. Even afterward, Lia still offered to help with the interview process for potential internships over the summer. I would like to thank Lia for her flexibility, support, and positivity throughout our time together. Not only is Lia a great mentor, but also a great friend.”

“I have had the privilege to work with Lia to complete my college application and essays which enabled me to get into the college of my choice. Now 4 years later, I just finished working with Lia on my personal statement for my graduate school application. Lia helped me when I was completely stuck, looking at my prompt thinking where do I even begin? She made the process, a lot smoother by supporting me with ideas on how to create an outline, create a draft, help with my edits, and build my final essay. Lia is such a wonderful person and is excellent to work with. I have built a personal relationship with her, and she will always be a lifelong friend. You will not regret becoming a client of Lia’s!”

“When I was considering a big career change from the environment sector to the medical field I was at a lost. Was this the right decision and if so, then how to proceed? Lia helped me analyze what I wanted out of a job, what my priorities were and what aspects of a career I definitely did and did not want. She was able to break down overwhelming decisions into manageable steps. Once helping me establish my careers goals of going to Occupational Therapy school, Lia advised and edited my graduate school essays.

After I graduated from Occupational Therapy school Lia provided expert advice editing my resume, multiple cover letters, and helping me prep for job interviews. It was over two years since applying for jobs and I was new to applying to jobs in the health care field. Lia walked me though how to best highlight my experiences in a succinct way. Lia provided me with sample interview questions for the medical field and practiced with me  to build my confidence with answering interview questions.

So thankful for Lia’s support, I would not have gotten into Occupational Therapy school or the job I have today with out her!!”

"I worked with Lia in high school when I knew minimal about the process of applying to college. Lia helped me so incredibly much to gain my confidence as I prepared for my life as a college student. I was lucky to get to work with Lia again as I applied for my masters in Speech and Language Pathology. Lia helped ease this major stressor for me as she assisted with the steps of my applications. She again helped me to feel confident before submission of my applications. I am thrilled with the results as I got accepted into both programs I applied to!!!! Yay thanks Lia for all your help:)"
